There is going to be a huge show in Baltimore, Maryland August 28th. Bands scheduled to play are Max Resist, Blue Eyed Devils, White Knuckle Driver, Slavia (Their last show ever!) Attack, Definite Hate, 13 Knots and End Apathy. Empire Falls has also been added to the bill!!

04/23/2010 Label 56 is very happy to announce two new releases out next month from Hardline titled The Struggle For Survival and 96 Brigade titled Revolution For Dummies. Hardline is an electronic/trance/techno project while 96 Brigade plays in your face political punk rock in the vein of Forward Area. MP3s for both these releases are posted below. Keep checking back for info on more new releases due out this summer as well as interviews with 96 Brigade, End Apathy, and Definite Hate/13 Knots.

10/22/2009 Over 20 CD`s have been added to our 'discounted' section. We offer limited specials from time to time on certain CD`s. This month`s special, which will run from now until the end of November, features a large portion of the Russian and Ukranian albums we have in stock for only $10 each. These are many good bands in a wide variety of different styles. This is a great time to get them at a good price!

05/29/2009 The new Ultra Sur CD is in stock! As Label 56 is committed to releasing CD`s from differing and alternative styles of music, we are proud to announce our new release from Ultra Sur titled 'Nacido Para Ser Skin'. This is a very upbeat Oi!/ RAC CD from Argentina with multiple vocals. It is easily one of the best I`ve heard from the genre. Everyone who is into this style of music and has heard the CD has loved it. It also includes a 3 page foldout booklet (6 pages all together) with lyrics and photos. 03/03/2009 This past month we went to the annual Uprise concert in Pennsylvania. We want to thank everyone for the hard work they did in putting together another great show. This year`s line up was stacked with several different bands and in my opinion was the best Uprise yet. It was also great to finally meet in person friends from bands and labels overseas that we have have been talking to for some time. We finally got our blog up! Check out the blog here for event information, cd reviews and announcements, and more New items available through Label 56 - Two different books written by Jack London are now available. Jack London`s stories revolve around the shocking reality of the cruelty of nature and survival of the fittest. They are a great read and I will be reviewing some of my favorite stories in our blog soon. We aim to stock more books in the near future. New shirts are now in stock from the band Pushing Onwards. These are high quality shirts with a killer intricate design. It is a front and back design on charcoal gray shirts. Pushing Onwards play a mix of death metal, hardcore and grind. They are one of my personal favs and we highly recommend anyone into the heavier styles of music to check them out. They are available in the 'Misc' section of our catalog, along with the Jack London books. New cd`s are being added in the next few weeks including more great Russian and Ukranian folk/ classical. The Svyatoslav`s Grandson- Twine Wreaths Of Songs cd is amazing, featuring female vocals set around folkish and classical music. We also will be adding some traditional classical music from Mozart, Beethoven and more. Some new Johhny Cash cd`s as well as some other outlaw country will be added as well seeing as many in our music scene enjoy this type of music. Also many new cd`s in the black metal, ambient, and hardcore genres are coming soon. New cd`s are set to be released shortly from Ultra Sur and Hardline. 01/05/2009 12/19/08 New CDs added to catalog. 11/18/08 New Patches and DVDs. Be sure to check out our 'Limited' section in the Catalog for rare and limited pressed CDs. Once they are gone, they are gone for good! Collect them while you can. The popular Label 56 T-shirts are back in stock!

The re-release of Final War`s "We Speak The Truth" includes new artwork and several bonus tracks. ** The ambient/martial style of music may be entirely new to some people. The style borrows musically from classical music, neofolk, neoclassical, traditional marches, and from elements of industrial and dark ambient. This band is defintely original. Check this album out! An EP from Absolute Terror is now stocked exclusively through Label 56. Absolute Terror has members from several well known east coast bands including Empire Falls, Those Opposed, and more. This ep is limited to 100 numbered copies and will definitely be a collectors item. Check out the catalog for more information.
